Once caesar is introduced to clemene, he makes the realization that the woman, amazingly, is imoinda; they soon get officially married and clemene becomes pregnant. Caesar, at this point, is a very prized slave with a stellar reputation among the englishmen that live around the area he was transported to away from surinam. Here, we realize that the narrator is a fellow englishman who resides with his lady and his brother; he starts to work closely with caesar. Later on, the englishmen go on a trip to a town in india, where they notice that the villagers were rather disfigured.
