Type one diabetes: autoimmune processes have destroyed cells of the pancreas that normally produce insulin. Type two diabetes: the pancreas produces at least some insulin, and treatment may not require insulin injections. Causes the pancreas to reduce insulin production: heredity, diets high in fat, sugar, stress, negative emotions, exercise, weight, and smoking. The treatment for diabetes would enable the body to perform or simulate the moral biochemical activities for processing and maintaining healthy levels of glucose. The main approach for treating diabetes entails a balancing act with medication, diet, and regular exercise. Non adherence to these regimens is a major problem in managing diabetes. People with diabetes have more difficulty following dietary and expertise advice than the more medical aspects of their regimens.
