Document Summary
Prosocial behaviour behaviour that intends to help or benefit someone. Before relations begin they must be in close proximity geographic nearness. It can provide opportunities of aggression but it can also breed likeness. Proximity breeds liking due to the mere exposure effect the phenomenon that repeated exposure to novel stimuli increases liking of them. The more often you see some on, the more likely you are to like them. We like people who look like us: safe an approachable. People who have not found a partner in immediate proximity can use matchmaking sites. Research found that many people were more inclined to like someone that they met online rather than face to face. It was also shown that online relationships tend to last longer and be more satisfying. The thing that creates an impression is looks. People tend to feel or judge people a certain way based on their appearance.
