There is no definition of science that everyone would find acceptable and this is because the nature of science has changed over time and because it deals with a wide range of subject matter. Is a means of discovering and organizing a wide variety of knowledge of the natural world. It also is a social process, which involves agreement on what constitutes scientific knowledge as well as training scientists, organizing research and ways of communicating results. Is usually seen as a rational means of obtaining knowledge. Scientists use logical reasoning to explain natural events. Explanation: involves setting out statements that give satisfactory accounts of wy something takes place. Physical science: such as physics, chemistry and astronomy; explanations are often satisfactory if it enables the scientist to make a prediction of the system under study. Life science: prediction is much more difficult given the sheer complexity of living organisms. The means by which humans manipulate the natural world.
