Today it involves the interaction and integration of people through international trade and investment, travel and tourism and information technology and the mass media. Caused by people searching for a better life in another country. Mass media has persuaded many people that moving abroad can bring them an easy life. Today, tourism is the world"s largest industry. Many developing countries have turned to tourism in the hope that it will attract foreign exchange and investment. Some people view it as an extension of colonialism. This means downsizing or closing facilities in canada or the us and relocating to countries where labour costs and taxes are low.
