Discrimination: an action unfair treatment directed against someone. Racism: when the basis of discrimination of race. Individual discrimination: the negative treatment of one person by another. Institutional discrimination: discrimination becoming a routine in society; social policy. Scapegoat: a racial, ethnic, or religious minority they unfairly blame for their troubles; becomes a convenient and safe target on which to vent their frustrations. Authoritarian personality: individuals that believe things are either right or wrong. Dual labour market: workers divided along racial, ethnic, and gender lines.
