Pressure: an expectation or demand that someone act in a certain way. Approach-approach: conflict that occurs when a person must choose between two equally desirable options. Avoidance-avoidance: conflict that occurs when a person much choose between two equally undesirable options. Approach-avoidance: conflict that occurs when any available choice has both desirable and undesirable qualities. Data suggests that the accumulation of daily stressors often leads to increased health risks. Life changes: shifts in life circumstances that require adjustments of some kind.
