Document Summary

Some believe when scientists nd human brain and nervous system, all of our experiences will be explained by our understanding of actions and interactions of the neutrons in our brain and nervous system. Neuroscience: study of the brain and the nervous system. One branch of study focuses on telomeres: a part of chromosome that prevents genes from degrading or recombining with our genetic material. They get smaller and smaller with each cell replication unitl they are gone and the cell dies. Some researchers believe if we could save telomeres, our cells would replicate inde nitely. Life and death are tied to development of the body and brain. We are not technologically advanced enough to consider ethical, legal and social impacts of implementing certain methods. In past, researchers avoid analyzing the brain because of its limits in our study, methods and technologies.
