Knowledge user: individual who is likely to be able to use the knowledge gaines through research to make informed decisions about policies, programs or practice: practitioner, policymaker, educator, decision maker, healthcare admin, etc. Synthesis: contextualizing and integrating ndings from individual research studies within larger body of knowledge on a topic. Dissemination: identifying a particular audience and tailoring the knowledge exchange to that audience both the message and medium. Exchange: engagement between researchers and knowledge users that results in mutual learning through planning, producing, disseminating and applying research.
