Document Summary

One of human history"s most appalling and atrocious acts of mass murder saw complete violation and degradation of human rights of 6 mill. victims. Rightly understood by most people as nazi germany"s systematic persecution, and then mass slaughter of 6 million people mainly jewish, but also mentally and physically challenged people, homosexuals, political radicals (esp. communists), and slavic people. For nazis, their world was all about domination and subjugation, violence and persecution, intolerance and hatred, and rabid, warmongering mania. After war, utter lack of regard for human life and mechanization of mass murder had to be challenged and torn down, and principles and laws put into place to enshrine a totally different set of values. Nazis cared only about german nation/aryan race whereas human rights defenders are concerned about everyone. Rights of humans everywhere not just a single ethnic group or nation. Nazis wanted full rights for only themselves, and they moved to deny rights to others.
