Information: data that has been organized or presented in a meaningful fashion. Processing: manipulating, calculating or organizing data into information. Binary language: consists of two digits; 0 and 1. Everything a computer does, such as processing data, printing a report, or editing a photo, is broken down into a series of 0s and 1s. Binary digit (bit): a digit that corresponds to the on and off states of a computer"s switches.
