The decision making process involves the perception of the existing state, the conception of the desired state and the steps that the chairperson takes to move from one state to another. Well-structured problem: a problem for which the existing state is clear, and how to get from one state to another state is fairly obvious. Organizations attempt to program the decision making for well-structured problems. Program: is simply a standardized way of solving a problem.
