Young man, j broke into the victims home shortly after midnight wearing a ski mask and carrying a knife. He woke the victim from her sleep and used duct tape to bind her hands and feet and to cover her eyes and mouth. For more than two hours, j physically and sexually assaulted the victim. He forced her to inhale a number of harsh, offensive substances. At one point, j violently ripped off the duct tape covering his victims eyes, removing some of her skin and eyebrows. Throughout the assault the victim was in constant fear of death. She suffered numerous bruises and cuts covering her body as well, her lungs suffered burns from the toxic inhalations and she subsequently became asthmatic. The emotional, social, and psychological damage she suffered was severe and immeasurable. J is a member of the first nation of canada"s yukon territory.
