Psychological test: (educational test) is a set of items that are designed to measure characteristics of human beings that pertain to behaviour: overt behaviour: individual"s observable activity. Some tests might attempt to measure the extent to which one might engage in a certain overt behaviour: covert behaviour: takes place within an individual and cannot be directly observed. E. g. feelings and thoughts: psychological tests thus measure past and current behaviour. Some attempt to predict future behaviour (e. g. how well one will do in university). Individual tests: test that can only be given to one person at a time.
