Representation informs our outlook on various group and cultures, potentially in turn affecting how social relations are played out. The media makes use of and construct representatives we recognize how we ourselves. Is selective categorize and identify social groups in particular and recognizable ways (i. e. stereotype) Typification: a form of shorthand, signified by appearance, behavior, belief, etc. Archetype: a perfect or idealized person or thing that exhibits certain core values and identities that offer a model or pattern for the way in which cultures are viewed; can be expressed as a positive or negative force.
