We know that ppl in groups always want to conform (as noted above) Ex all priests conform to their rules, jail inmates conform to their rules. Compliance: conformity to a social norm prompted by the desire to acquire rewards or avoid punishment. Ex convicts comply bc if they get caught slippin they get killed.
