Teeth: provide place of articulation for consonants. Nose: to provide nasal resonance during speech: newborns respond differently to human voices than to other types of sounds, sign languages are conveyed via gestures, body posture and facial expressions. Sign language: not just spelling out oral language independent systems of communication => own vocal and grammatical rules. French sign language and english sign language can be similar. Nouns as verbs pull the boat onto the beach = beach the boat clean the oor with a mop = mop the oor put the wine in bottles = bottle the wine.
