Health Sciences 3910F/G Chapter Notes - Chapter 12: Grey Literature, Data Analysis, Content Analysis
Document Summary
Qualitative research does not have many absolutes. It sets the scene and puts the proposed research into context. The reader must know why the study was and how it relates broadly to other research. It is best to begin with a sentence that describes exactly what the paper will be about. The research question and aim of the study is described. It is important for the author to be able to reflect on the degree to which the aim of the study was or was ont achieved. Offer an account of previous research that has been done and begin to describe how you searched the literature. Describe the computer search engines, key-words entered - and ensure that the review is systematic. The reader must know who did the research, when it was done, what was done, and what was found.
