When approaches to dissemination are passive, they are ineffective due to no evidence of spontaneous uptake. Stakeholder engagement is significantly likely to improve dissemination. When messages are written in ways that bring about emotion, interest, and exhibit usefulness, dissemination to nonscientists is improved. When disseminating to an agency, approaches should be consistent with the organization, timley, and aligned with the abilities of the staff members of that agency. The goal of disseminating research is to accomplish impact. A summary of the information that includes tables, charts, and infographics that is targeted towards hospital administrators. A succinct and brief message of the issue, while including potential benefits from the proposed innovation.
