Evolution - a change in genetic structure from one generation to the next. It"s the accumulation of such changes over considerable periods of time that can result in the emergence or extinction of species. Anthropology - the field that studies human culture and evolutionary aspects of human biology in all times and places. Anthropology is global in scope, holistic in vision, (i. e. it is biocultural ) and is scientific in method. Topics are related to behaviour; social relationships (ex. Kinship, marriage patterns), religion, ritual, technology, subsistence, and economic and political systems. Also concerned with biological and evolutionary dimensions; genetics, anatomy, skeletal structure, adaptation to disease, and other environmental factors, growth nutrition, etc. Scientific method - an approach to research whereby a problem is identified, a hypothesis is stated, and that hypothesis is tested through the collection and analysis of data.
