Intimate violence: crime that occurs in the context of familiarity, such as spousal abuse, child abuse, or elder abuse. Criminology: science study of nature, extent, cause, and control of criminal behavior. Criminologist: one who brings objectivity and method to the study of crime and its consequence. Criminology and criminal justice: these two words although seem similar, they have major difference. Criminologists explain the etiology(origin), extent, and the nature of crime.
