Most can apply for full parole after 1/3 of sentence federal corrections mainly deal w/ offenders with sentences of 2 years +, except where there is no provincial correctional system in place. Offenders serving a long term supervision order (ltso) fall under jurisdiction of. Parole board of canada (pbc) and correctional service of canada (csc) during ltso portion of sentence (even if prison sentence is less than two years) Some parole officers assigned to prisons; author only supervises prisoners who have been released to community.
