Culture changes standards of politeness have changed over generations as culture evolves. Ecological and geographical variations: pleistocene era humans had already settled in a more diverse range of physical environments, which affected the ways that people lived their daily lives. Small variations in ecologies can lead to dramatically different cultures. The animals provided the basis for the development of western agriculture. China: rice growing regions (labour intensive) people showed more interdependent thinking styles as opposed to wheat growing regions.
