Document Summary

Jan"s was projecting inattentive behaviour and made frequent errors. After jan had completed the worksheet she would get a praise: by giving her/him worksheet every day during class, but every two days the praise would come after a certain increase in work completed. Intermittent reinforcement: is an arrangement in which a behavior is positively reinforced only occasionally (i. e. , intermittently) rather than every time it occurs: e. g. Jan; she was praised after a fixed number of problem not after every problems. This caused her work rate to increase steadily. Response rate: refers to the number of instances of a behavior that occur in a given period of time: also known as response frequency , but response rate is usually used for schedule of reinforcement. Schedule of reinforcement: is a rule specifying which occurrences of a given behavior, if any, will be reinforced: the simplest schedule of reinforcement is continuous reinforcement (crf)
