Main barriers to mental health: afordability and time-consumpion. Therapy associated with other costs (ime away from work, etc. ) (100$/hr) For families with low-income they just cope with it "ill a major problem occurs and avoidance can no longer work. Involuntary treatment (in us and canada) people can be forced to enter mental health system through the advise of doctors/ social service workers -> due to highly disturbing and erraic behaviour.
