Sir francis galton believed people learn through their senses. He created a set of 17 sensory tests (highest and lowest sounds people can hear, the difference in weight between objects, etc) Anthropometrics: the measurement of people/ the methods of measuring physical and mental variations in humans. James mckeen cattell took these tests to the us and began measuring university students. Found that sensory test scores did not predict their grades.
