Mimicry: taking on for ourselves the behavirous, smotions displays, and facial expressions of others. Chameleon effect: describes how people mimic others non-conciouslu, automatically copying other"s behaviours even without realizing it. Social norms: guidelines for how to behave in social contexts. Social loafting: occurs when an individual put less efoort into working in a tasks with others. Low efficacy belifs: when the task is too difficult so people don"t know where to start, can be overcome by providing clear deadlines and feedback. Believing that ones contributions are not important to the group: occurs if people cant see how their input matters to the group, overcome by telling how their input matters, making them feel signitifant. Not caringg about the groups outcome: occur when one is not identified with the group, feeling rejected from the group, overcome by making the goal clear, encouraging personal relationships.
