Job specialization: the process of identifying the specific jobs that need to be done and designating the people who will perform them, ex. The job of producing shirts: cut materials for the shirt body, sleeves, collar. In small organization owner might perform all the jobs. As organization grows, needs of job specialization increases as work load increases. Individual jobs can be performed more efficiently: easier to learn jobs, easier to replace emptied position.
