Chapter 1 1-6, 10-12: the environment crisis. For the first time human beings are altering the basic operations of the earth"s atmosphere, geosphere, and biosphere. The fact that we have increased nearly 30% of carbon dioxide. Harmful uv rays and the population of frogs is going down. This idea recognizes that humans are participant in complex ecosystems and that their potential for health is proportional to the health function of those ecosystems. That we are not always aware about what is going on since it could be a political barging chip. We might feel overwhelmed or believe we can fix things. We see that people are getting things like skin cancer because of uv rays but we do no studies and there is no funding for such things. People are getting poorer and they start to live in worst environment and every one in the end is affected.
