Document Summary

A model that explains how electrons exist in atoms and how those electrons determine the chemical/physical properties of elements. Light is electromagnetic radiation- type of energy embodied is oscillating electric and magnetic fields. Electric field- a region of space where an electrically charged particle experiences a force. Magnetic field- a region of space where a magnetic particle experiences a force. Visible light- light that can be seen by the human eye (determines colour) White light is produced by sun or light bulbs. Red light has the longest wavelength of visible light.
