Baby boom generaion: those born between 1946 and 1965. Concern: too few ppl in labour market to support the needs of the elderly. Feminizaion of aging: rise in the proporion of the populaion who are female in each older age group. (women make up larger porion of elderly than of young/middle aged) Concern: women have fewer health protecive factors than men which increase health care costs. i. e. , more likely to be poor, husband remarries younger.
