Idenify the social context in which we live in and how these contexts shape our lives. Ex) holding hand: always male and female posiion. Ex) siing in lecture: students face prof and prof faces students. The quality of mind that enables one to see connecions between personal and social structures. Person loses job and it just means that the part of the job is no longer needed. Micro: (person); social change; face to face interacion; Meso: people not inimately related; do not interact face to face s oten. Macro: (canada); structural level; educaional level; outside ones inimate/ acquaintance circle. Global: (earth); breaking economic borders; not determinisic; outside all relaions; above naional levels. A way of looking at the world that allows links between the apparently private problems of the individual and important social issues.
