Nepotistic patterns of violent psychology: evidence for adaptation: background, nepotism: practice of favouring friends or family, psychopaths, disregard social norms, engage in selfish, antisocial, often violent behaviour. It is possible that this is a well structured evolutionary strategy that has contributed to reproductive fitness: they tend to not harm kin. All were screened for affective disorder, mental retardation and schizophrenia. Its possible that psychopaths avoided harming their relatives by leaving home or home more readily ejected psychopaths: psychopathy remained marginally negatively associated with victim offender relatedness.
