There is no one definition of learning that is university accepted by. Learning is the process by which activity originates or is changed through training procedures as distinguished from changes by factors not attributable to training hilgard. To be considered learning, a change in performance or performance potential must come about as a result of the learner"s experience and interaction with the world driscoll. Learning is an enduring change in an enduring change in behavior, or in the capacity to behave in a given fashion, which results from practice or other forms of experience. - schunk learning involves change. Must be visible in behavior or expressed understanding. Excludes temporary behavioral changes (eg. slurred speech) brought about by such factors as drugs, alcohol and fatigue learning occurs through change. Occurs as a result of a stimuli or interaction. Does not include behavior determined by heredity.
