Nature vs. nurture: nature-nurture issue = issue concerning the manner in which geneic and environmental factors inluence development, mutually interacive inluences; dev always shaped by both. Biological forces = all geneic and health-related factors that afect development: ex. prenatal dev, brain maturaion, puberty, menopause, facial wrinkling, cardiovasc funcioning changes, determined by geneic code + incl. efects of lifestyle factors ex. diet/exercise.
