Rationale/what is needed: small sample of surgical rns via interviews. Conceptual framework: morse"s 5 epistemological perspectives and husted and husted clarify the definition of caring. Design: this step is not overtly included in research papers; well designed research will be very clear and organized, quantitative. Research design the overall plan for obtaining answers to the questions.
