Gang related image doesn"t have to be unique because it represents unity. Every other image must be unique to individual. Most tattoos will be done free hand (no stencil). Choice of image is limited by norms and values. Don"t want to be affiliated with an inmate that is taken into protective custody or gets in trouble. Tattoos continue to develop with every individual and new regulations that are set in place. Host: virus/bacteria must be able to survive in host by surpassing immune system and multiply. Hiv when blood is dry, the virus dies. Hep b and c can live for weeks outside of body on machines, inks, water bottles, etc.
