Management is the process of achieving organizational goals through people and other resources. Combine human and technical resources to achieve a company"s goals. Hierarchy in management is usually categorized into three categories: top. Top management: the top management of a company are the ceo, cfo, ect. They develop the company"s plans for the future of their company. Middle management: middle management includes positions such as regional managers. They focus their attention on issues related to products, operation, and customer groups. They are generally more involved with day to day operation of the company. Supervisory management: includes supervisors, section chiefs, program managers, ect. Their jobs are generally to assign jobs to non managerial staff and evaluate their performance. Motivating workers to accomplish goals is a significant part of their job. Managers usually use three skills: technical, human, and conceptual. Technical skills: the ability of the manager to understand techniques, tools, equipment, and technical aspects of their organization.
