Two swindlers come into town claiming to make very fine clothes. Their clothes cannot be seen by those who are unfit for their position or stupid. The emperor asks them to make clothes for him. They take all the emperor"s looms, thread, & money and just pocket it in their bags. Pretend to be working all day and night with no thread actually in the loom. Emperor sends advisors to check on the progress of the clothes. No one wants to admit that they can"t see anything or they"ll seem unfit for their position. Emperor puts on clothes & people pretend to hold his train. Until a child says but he doesn"t have any clothes .
