Some d/o involve routine and consistent misinterpretations of the intentions of others. Emotion is also important in understanding personality d/o. Self-concept some personality d/o have distortion in the self-concept. Social relationships are frequently disturbed or maladaptive in personality disorders. Biology can also form building blocks of several personality disorders. Disorder is a pattern of behaviour or experience that is distressing and painful to the person, that leads to disability or impairment in important life domains problems with work, marriage or relationship difficulties.
