How social factors influence attitudes, beliefs, decisions, actions. Conformity automatic mimicry: behaviour is contagious chameleon effect: unconscious imitation of expressions, postures, voice tones. Obesity, sleep loss, drug use, loneliness, happiness spread in social networks positive herding: positive reviews generate more positive reviews empathy: automatic mimicry helps us to empathize. More empathetic people tend to mimic, which fosters fondness.
