Worked with freud for 8-10 years; contributor to psychodynamic approach open-forum: he pioneered the pracice of teaching professionals through demonstraing with parents and children. According to adler, how is human behavior determined? (what would he say about determinism and free will?) To help clients to idenify and change their mistaken beliefs about self, others and life and thus to paricipate more fully in a social world. Person forms an approach to life in the irst 6 years of living focused on the person"s past as perceived in the present and how a person"s interpretaions of early events coninued to inluence present behavior.
