Document Summary

If we introduce another organism, other organisms will move as far from each other as possible to make the distribution uniform: uniform distribution happens locally. Within a clumped distribution, there can be a uniform distribution. Clumped distribution, most of the time, happens globally (ie not locally): random distribution: happens randomly: seeds randomly grow anywhere where wind drops them. If organisms are clumped distributed, when you find one individual, there is a high chance of finding other organisms in the same area. When you have uniform distribution, the chance is lower. When they run out of resources, we will reach a plateau. Predators population can grow as the population of the organisms grow. Population size, age might affect how fast a population grows: reduction of growth rate means that the population is increasing however at a much slower rate. Properties of population: distribution of it and size of the population.
