Document Summary
Latent learning - learning that is not immediately expressed by a response until the organism is reinforced for doing so. S-o-r theory (stimulus-organism-response theory) - individual is actively processing and analyzing information; influencing observable behaviours as well as internal mental life. Observational learning - involves changes in behaviour and knowledge that result from watching others. Processes supporting observational learning: importance of attention, memory as an important facet, requires observer to be able to actually reproduce behaviour, motivation. Imitation - recreating someone else"s motor behaviour/expression, often to accomplish a specific goal.
