Withdrawal behaviour: set of actions employees perform to avoid the work situation -> may eventually culminate in quitting. Focus of commitment: various people, places and things that can inspire a desire to remain a member of an organization. Emotional reasons/attachment friendships, atmosphere, culture, enjoyment when completing job duties. Erosion model: employees with fewer bonds will be the most likely to quit the organization. Employee with one bond will most likely quit the organization. Social influence model: employees with direct linkages with leavers will themselves become more likely to leave because you are aware of the costs associated with leaving it benefits and promotions, concerns about uprooting a family. Benefit associated with staying and a cost associated with leaving been at a corporate for a long time, you know the tricks.
