Parents have higher expectations with first born children and more realistic expectations and are more relaxed with later born children. First born - children tend to have higher iqs, are more likely to attend university and are more compliant with parental requests. Later born - children are more social, popular and easy going. Only children - are more likely to succeed in school, have higher iqs, take leadership positions, independent and mature: very similar to first born. The issues bring children into the adoption system can have an impact. The fact of being adopted alone has no impact. Child adopted when a little bit older, why they were brought to the adaption system can be a whole traumatic experiences and those experiences can affect the child. 6 months already interested playing with other children. Nonsocial play playing alone or watching others play.
