Wanted to keep dumb people out of the country - aka anyone who isn"t white. There are social conditions that lead to high level of participation in sports (as well as entertainment and crime) People who face widespread discrimination and prejudice for lack of other ways to improve their social and economic positon. Problem is that undermines the argument that genes determine the behaviour of racial groups. Prejudice - an attitude that judges a person on his or her groups real or imagined characteristics. Discrimination - is unfair treatment of people because of their group membership. So much intermixing that race has a biological category that has nearly lost all meaning. Perceptions of race continue to affect many lives profoundly.
