Mathemaical ability boys show an advantage over girls. Acivity level boys are more physically acive. Fear, imidity and risk taking girls are more fearful/imid in uncertain situaions than boys, they are also more cauious, taking fewer risks in these situaions. Developmental vulnerability boys are more physically vulnerable to prenatal and perinatal hazards, and more likely to display a variety of developmental problems. Emoional expressivity/sensiivity from toddlerhood onward, boys are more likely than girls to display one emoion (anger) whereas girls usually display most other emoion. Compliance girls are more compliant than boys. Self-esteem boys show an advantage over girls. In conclusion males and females are more psychologically similar than diferent. Many develop mentalists believe gender-role stereotypes create a self-fulilling prophecy, that promotes sex diference in cogniive performance and steers boys and girls along diferent career paths.
