Money acting almost a s lure, encourages people to enter public life, to become politicians in order to propose new ideas for canada. Money in the government also speaks to baser instincts, the desire to win and to be rewarded or in some cases to seek private gain at the expense of the public officials to manage it. Budgeting is the tool used to carry out actions in an efficient and balanced way when in regards to money. Managing public resources also requires gaining formal approval of budgetary proposals from the people"s representatives in the legislature. The managers of public money have three basic duties, two of the duties deal directly with the preparation of the budget and the other relates to the implementation of the budget. The first two tasks are sustaining overall fiscal discipline and distributing the public money and the public money in a way that respects government priorities.
