Document Summary
Every cell in body is surrounded by external membrane that contains contents and preven entry of other substances. The integumentary system protects internal organs from dying out, from bacteria, from damaging effects of heat, sunlight and a number of chemical substances. Movement includes all the activities in the muscular system (moving from place to place walking, swimming etc. ) and manipulating external environment with our fingers. The skeletal system provides bones that muscles use to wok. Movement also occurs with substances such as blood, food and urine are moved to their respective systems. Responsiveness or irritably is the ability to sense changes (stimuli) and react to them. Nerve cells are highly irritable and can communicate rapidly with each other through elec impulses- the nervous system bears most responsibility however all cells are irritable to s extent. Breaking down food into simple molecules to be absorbed into the blood. Nutrient rich blood is moved to body cells.
